Company Background

Established in 1975 and headquartered in Hong Kong, Applied Enterprises Limited (“AEL”) has successfully transformed itself from an electronics OEM manufacturer for multi-national companies into a luxury resort developer in the tropics and properties investment company.

With view to the shrinking profit margin of the OEM industry, the Group has re-positioned itself to capture the positive prospect of real estate market and other investments holdings. The main resort development projects of AEL are (i) Beef Island in the British Virgin Islands ("BVI Project") and (ii) its resort development in Playa Grande in the Province of Chiriqui in Panama ("Panama Project") and AEL's main investment properties in Hong Kong as well as the holding of investments generate income to the Group.

AEL will develop the resort project with support of a prestigious group of partners, including Jack Nicklaus, EDSA, ATM, Hill Glazier, Harris Civil Engineers, Wilson & Associates, Norton Consulting Real Estate and Leisure Advisors and Robert Charles Lesser & Co.
